Day Hikes and Reforestation Project in Mt. Manabu, Sto. Tomas, Batangas

Few days ago, I had this two-separate-days-with-one-mission hike going to Mt. Manabu, Sto. Tomas, Batangas last March 26, 2017 and April 1, 2017. I have with me my past college friends and org mates to hike in the mountain and bring bottles of water to water the young trees in the Trans-Malarayat Reforestation Project of our environmental organization Ugnayan Kalikasan.

For some reason, it’s been a long time since I went to a hike and visit this magnificent mountain that we loved so much. So, I and my friends Mervi and Jayp decided to surprise the pack and went there like old ninjas. Brought multiple of bottles sizing from 1 liter and above then make another amazing contribution to the motherland.

We plant trees not for the picture, but for the future.

However, during the hike, things got crazy out of nowhere! LOL! Find out how we lost our drinking water and went to a wrong trail on the first day; and how I was roasted in the mountain in the second day hike during April Fools day. Watch these two vlogs I made from the trip:

PLUS! My brother Jayb also graduated from college! Let’s all congratulate him. Well, congrats to the all graduates of 2017!!!

Aside from the vlog, here are few photos I took during the hike:
